Assistant Merchandiser - Fashion

A leading fashion retailer based in London is looking for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join its growing merchandising team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded individual to develop their career within a fast-paced, multi-channel retail environment.

Working closely with Merchandisers, Buying, VM and Digital teams, you will play a key role in ensuring stock is effectively managed, sales opportunities are maximised and reporting is delivered accurately to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support stock management and allocation planning to maximise sales and profitability.
• Produce and maintain weekly trading reports, analysis and KPI reporting.
• Assist with forecasting, WSSI management and departmental planning.
• Monitor deliveries and work closely with suppliers to ensure business requirements are met.
• Support key meetings through analysis, reporting and trading recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate stock packages and commercial plans.
• Coach and support more junior team members where required.

About You

• Previous Assistant Merchandiser experience within a fashion or retail head office environment.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
• Experience supporting forecasting, sign-offs and trading decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially aware with the ability to identify opportunities and react to trading performance.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work to tight deadlines.
• Experience in using the department WSSI
