Homeware Technologist – West Yorkshire

An established fashion and lifestyle retailer is looking for an experienced Homeware Technologist to join its growing technical team on a permanent basis.

This role will involve managing product quality, technical development and compliance across homeware and accessories ranges.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage technical specifications, product approvals and quality standards.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure critical path deadlines are met.
• Review product testing, safety requirements and compliance documentation.
• Oversee quality control processes for developed and bought-in products.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in homeware, accessories or general merchandise product technology.
• Strong knowledge of product development and critical path management.
• Experience working with suppliers and managing product quality.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• An understanding of product testing and compliance would be advantageous.
