Menswear Designer | Nottingham | Fixed-Term Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Menswear Designer to join a well-established heritage fashion brand.

The successful candidate will play a key role within the design team, taking ownership of the menswear product area from initial trend research and concept development through to technical design and production.

The Role

• Develop commercial, trend-led menswear collections that reflect current trends and customer needs.
• Create detailed technical CADs and product specifications.
• Work closely with overseas suppliers on samples, costings and product development.
• Attend fit sessions and sample review meetings, ensuring products meet design and quality expectations.
• Contribute to other product categories when required.
• Collaborate with the wider team to support the successful delivery of seasonal collections.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2–4 years' fashion design experience, ideally within menswear.
• Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills.
• A good understanding of fabrics, garment construction and product development.
• Experience working across multiple product categories.
• A commercial eye, strong attention to detail and a confident, collaborative approach.

The Package

• Location: Nottingham
• Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
• Contract: Fixed-term, 4–6 months
• Start date: Immediate start preferred
