Product Compliance & Sustainability Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Product Compliance & Sustainability Coordinator to join an established fashion retailer, supporting product compliance, ethical sourcing and sustainability initiatives.

Working closely with the garment technology and production teams, this role will focus on ensuring products, packaging and suppliers meet UK and EU regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitoring product, packaging and labelling compliance across UK and European markets.
• Supporting compliance with environmental regulations, including REACH, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and packaging legislation.
• Maintaining supplier documentation, product certifications and compliance records.
• Coordinating factory audits, risk assessments and corrective action plans.
• Supporting ethical sourcing initiatives, sustainability reporting and supply chain transparency.
• Working with suppliers to ensure materials and products meet required standards.
• Monitoring changes in legislation and supporting the implementation of new compliance processes.
• Collaborating with garment technology, buying and production teams to improve compliance and sustainability practices.

About you:

• Previous experience in product compliance, sustainability, garment technology or a related technical role within fashion or retail.
• Good understanding of UK and EU product compliance requirements and environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of REACH, EPR, packaging compliance or ethical sourcing standards would be advantageous.
• Experience working with suppliers, technical documentation and compliance data.
• Strong Excel skills, organisation and attention to detail.
• Confident communicating with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
