Merchandise Admin Assistant

The job role of the Merchandise Admin Assistant within the Fashion & Retail industry is to provide administrative support to the merchandising team, providing essential support to their Assistant Merchandiser, Merchandiser and Senior Merchandiser. The Merchandise Admin Assistant within fashion has the same duties whether the product is Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear, fashion accessories, footwear, lingerie or homeware.

The duties of the Merchandise Admin Assistant in the fashion industry include accessing and printing off reports of the weekly sales and analysing sales and stock figures. The duties of the Merchandise Admin Assistant will have some cross-over to the Allocator/Distributor job role and include the allocation of stock to stores and maintaining the flow of stock to stores.

Ad hoc duties are also an essential daily part of the Merchandise Admin assistant job role as you are providing full administrative support to the Fashion and Retail Merchandising team.
