Assistant Buyer

A new opportunity has arisen for an assistant buyer to join this lifestyle retailer on a temporary basis.

The company is an iconic British retailer that is well-known within the market.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Range planning with the buyer
- Liaising with suppliers and negotiating costs to hit margin
- Managing the critical path for your range
- Any other ad-hoc tasks needed to support the team

The successful candidate will have previous buying experience, either at senior BAA or AB level, possess a good level of commercial awareness and be highly organised with strong communication skills.

As a temp you will receive a competitive salary rate that is paid on a weekly basis as well as paid holiday and the opportunity to join a pension scheme.
