An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and analytical Demand Planner to join a globally recognised consumer products business. As one of the world's leading toy manufacturers, the company boasts an impressive portfolio of both owned and licensed brands, delivering innovative and engaging products to consumers across more than 100 countries.
Due to continued growth and expansion, this is a newly created role within the existing Supply Chain structure, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to make a significant impact while helping to shape and develop demand planning processes in a fast-paced international environment.
The Role
As Demand Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts across a diverse product portfolio. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams, you will support inventory optimisation, improve forecast accuracy, and contribute to business planning activities.
This role would suit a commercially aware and data-driven professional who enjoys working collaboratively and thrives in a dynamic FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or product-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and enhance demand forecasts across multiple product categories.
• Analyse historical sales data, customer trends, market activity, and promotional plans to improve forecast accuracy.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to align demand assumptions and business plans.
• Monitor forecast performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support inventory planning and stock optimisation initiatives.
• Produce regular forecasting and performance reports for key stakeholders.
• Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Identify potential supply risks and demand fluctuations, proposing proactive solutions.
• Contribute to wider Supply Chain improvement projects as the business continues to grow.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
• Previous experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Planning, or a similar analytical Supply Chain role.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
• Experience working with ERP, forecasting, or planning systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to interpret complex data and provide commercially focused recommendations.
• A proactive approach and a continuous improvement mindset.
