Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

We are looking for a Junior Garment Technologist to join our team and provide essential support to our Garment Technologists throughout the fitting and sealing process.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience within the garment, fashion or textile industry, particularly someone who has worked in a sealing room or a similar technical environment.

You will play an important role in supporting fit sessions, preparing samples and maintaining the administration and communication required to keep the fitting process running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with garment fit sessions and provide support throughout the fitting process.
Drive the company vehicle to attend fit meetings in Leicester, ensuring all relevant fit samples are taken to meetings.
Take photographs during fit meetings as required.
Support Garment Technologists with the preparation of sealer samples, fit samples and tags for fit sessions.
Email customers to arrange and book styles in for fitting.
Follow up and chase fit comments when required.
Create, maintain and update workbooks and relevant documentation.
Communicate with factories when sealer samples are sent.
Maintain and update Critical Paths, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Carry out general administrative duties to support the Sealing Room and wider technical team.
Work collaboratively with Garment Technologists and other members of the team to ensure deadlines are met.
Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous experience working in a sealing room or within the garment, fashion or textile industry.
An interest in garment technology, fashion and/or textile products.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Essential Requirements
A full, valid UK driving licence.
Ability and willingness to drive the company vehicle as part of the role, including travelling to fit meetings in Leicester.
A confident and responsible approach to driving, with a good understanding of road safety.
Flexibility to travel when required.
The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively while working to deadlines.
