Merchandise Manager - Fashion
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Merchandising Manager to join a rapidly growing international fashion retailer during a period of significant expansion.
Based in the London head office, you will play a key role in shaping the UK merchandising strategy, working closely with global teams and maintaining regular contact with the company's headquarters in China. As such, fluent Mandarin and English language skills are essential.
Reporting into senior leadership, you will lead merchandising initiatives across multiple product categories, driving commercial performance through effective assortment planning, in-season trading, stock management and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead seasonal merchandising and assortment planning strategies.
Drive sales, margin and stock performance through effective trading.
Analyse customer behaviour, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
Manage pricing, promotions, markdowns and inventory optimisation.
Deliver commercial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with Buying, Design, Retail and Supply Chain teams.
Coach, mentor and develop members of the merchandising team.
About You
Proven experience within merchandising, planning or trading in a fashion retail environment.
Currently operating at Senior Merchandiser, Merchandising Manager or equivalent level.
Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical skills.
Demonstrated success managing sales, margin and stock KPIs.
Experience working within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial business.
Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
