Senior Buyer

RHR are pleased to be recruiting for a Senior Buyer to join this successful and long established retailer in South London.

Trading predominantly within the home & lifestyle sector, this client is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their business to manage Small Domestic Appliances which is a significant part of overall sales.

You will be responsible for developing the range to maximise financial returns. Working cross functionally and with an established supplier base, you will need to have a strong trade mentality, the ability to negotiate and take ownership for securing the best margins.

Key requirements for the role.

Proven previous experience as a Buyer across General Merchandise, ideally with ownership of electricals or SDA

Commercial acumen, including the ability to work in cross functional teams.

Great communication and Leadership experience. Showing resilience and a desire perform at a high level.

Able to work at pace in a reactive and pro active role.

Numerical ability, with an analytical and trade focused mindset.

Strong IT skills including MS Office.

The role will require 3 to 4 days a week at the head office with 1 or 2 days at home.
In return you can expect an excellent package with a basic between 65 - 80K depending on experience.
