Women's Soft Wovens and Formal Jersey Designer - 6 month contract

This is a great opportunity for a women's trend lead women’s soft woven and formal jersey designer to join a leading, vertically integrated manufacturer for a six-month contract.

Working closely with the design director and wider team, you will be responsible for researching the market; ; creating on-trend, forward-thinking, yet commercial designs for the showroom and in response to briefs; producing accurate and detailed CADs to present to buyers and technical packs for product development; presenting ranges to customers in a confident manner; communicating effectively with team members in the UK, Turkey, Morocco, China and Bangladesh; and overseeing the development of sampling, ensuring deadlines are met.

The role will suit a passionate, creative and proactive women’s fashion soft woven / jersey design specialist with a strong understanding of the most up to date trends, fabrications and working to tight deadlines.
