Marketing Director

As a Marketing Director you will be the custodian of the company's image, brand and also its standing within the market place. You will be accountable for ensuring your company is meeting the needs of its customers and attracting potential customers, so you'll be getting into the mind set of your customers and thinking about their needs. At the same time, you'll make sure that your own company is communicating and advertising what your company has to offer to meet these needs and wants. At this level you will have established experience of above and below the line marketing and additionally will be able to support the digital proposition development.
It's a high pressure job and you'll need to know about all aspects of the way your company operates. In such a way you can oversee your company's marketing strategies (including getting to grips with research and market analysis). Needless to say there's a lot of networking and people-meeting so if you're the shy retiring type you won't be able to hide away.

The requirements of the role of a Marketing Director will ideally be a Bachelors or Master's Degree in Marketing, a professional chartered marketer (CIM), a proven track record of success in senior marketing roles. You will be confident, driven and a dynamic leader. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities and be an exceptional relationship builder.
